Realistic cockatoo painting of Polly, a very sweet lesser sulphur crested cockatoo. Smaller than a sulphur crested (and, in my experience, better behaved!) I enjoy painting white birds especially: it is always a challenge to portray the depth of white feathers and keep them looking bright and luminous.
This is an oil painting on canvas measuring 30 x 40 cm ( 12 x 16 inches) and framed in a warm mid- grey wooden tray frame measuring 34 x 43 cm x 3.5 cm and ready to hang.
